Nashville, TN
(February 4, 2009) -- There's nothing more exciting than the annual
Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (www.hlsr.com), and this year is no
exception for entertainer Todd Fritsch. Todd and his band return
to the Rodeo grounds (at the Reliant Center/Arena) for
"pre-rodeo" events, including four private-party shows and a
performance from the Main Stage at the legendary Rodeo Houston BBQ
Cook-Off. Fritsch will be a celebrity judge during the Cook-Off
and "wrap" the Rodeo on March 22 as the final act of
this year's activities at The Hideout.

Todd's currently climbing the Texas Music Chart and the Texas Regional
Radio Report (at #26 & #21, respectively) with Texas Talkin'
- a track from his SAWDUST. He's kicking off 2009 into
high gear with a new management and production team in place and begins
recording his next CD in early March. A working cowboy who helped
run over 60,000 head of cattle through the family's operation in 2008,
Todd's looking forward to taking some time off from the ranch for the Rodeo
and some serious Texas cookin'. "I am gonna strap on my
apron and go to town on some chow!" Fritsch says with a
laugh.
For Fritsch, who now lives in Ledbetter, there is no "day"
prefacing "job;" he's on the go 24/7, training horses and
dogs in what he laughingly calls his "spare time." It's
that drive that gave Todd two critically-acclaimed CDs (TODD FRITSCH
and SAWDUST) in the last few years, and a string of country
chart hits: What's Wrong With Me, Small Town Radio, I Don't Live
Here Anymore, I Got Mexico, and a duet with Texas legend, Gary P.
Nunn, Every Honky Tonkin' Hero (Has His Day). He's shared
the stage with Lee Ann Womack, Joe Nichols, Marty Stuart, Kevin Fowler,
Cory Morrow and Cross Canadian Ragweed and in 2008, he appeared in the
full-length motion picture, PALO PINTO GOLD, starring Trent
Willmon and Kinky Friedman.
