LANTANA  Trio Set To Rock State Fair Of Texas For 24 Days

Millions Gather At Annual Event

Nashville, TN (September 14, 2009) -- LANTANA  is set to rock the State Fair of Texas (www.bigtex.com) with a 24-day run that begins September 25 and ends October 18.  The trio takes over the Bud Light Sound Stage/Cotton Bowl Plaza with daily shows at what is considered one of the largest Fairs in the nation, with annual attendance measured in the millions.

LANTANA has spent the past year working on songs for a new CD, perfecting their new stage show and building a solid fan base in their home state of Texas. Biz Haddock, Dalene Richelle and Lisa Underwood know how to entertain big crowds - they're edgy and fun; sassy and smart, and their vocal talents are legendary. LANTANA has performed at venues ranging from the Houston Astrodome, Louisiana Superdome, Texas Stadium, Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon to the State Fair of Texas (2006).  The Dallas Morning News named  the trio one of the "Top 10 Concerts of  '06" and  their debut CD, UNBRIDLED, was tagged as one of the publication's "Top 10 CDs of  '06."

"We are pumped to be returning to the Fair," says group founder Biz Haddock.  "We played one show there in '06 - so a three-week run just rocks!"

LANTANA heads into the studio later this Fall to begin work on a new CD, which is set for release in 2010.  In the meantime, Fair attendees should look for the trio's special EP (available only at the Fair), or they can purchase the debut CD at the Fair or online.
