Nashville, TN (August 5, 2013) -Country superstar Charlie Daniels and emerging artist Jay Jolley met recently in Monroe, Michigan. Aboard Daniels' bus, the two began their own dialogue on Jay's new single, "God Save Us All From Religion," written by Daniels, Kim Williams and Doug Johnson.
"It was simply amazing to meet the man who co-wrote this song that I love; the man behind the larger-than-life legend," Jolley admits. "He was so gracious and offered up some interesting insights into the tune." The track was originally released by the The Charlie Daniels Band on their DUECES album in 2007. Jay felt a true connection as he and Charlie discussed the timeliness of the single's release. "Even though it was written several years ago, the message resonates now more than ever with all of the unrest in the world today," comments Jay.
"God Save Us All From Religion" is Jay's current single, produced by nationally-recognized producer/songwriter Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound studio for Double-J Records. Jolley is a singer/songwriter and musician who hails from the Detroit area.
